This Glengoyne expression has been aged in a single first-fill American oak bourbon barrel for almost 20 years. With an outrun of just 111 bottles, this exquisite Highland dram is presented at a cask strength of 54.6% abv. Free from chill filtration.
Notes of cranberries, highland toffee and fresh cinnamon fill the nose, before a palate full of tropical fruit sweetness, rich oak, tangy marmalade and intense dark chocolate. On the finish, notes of Madagascan vanilla, soft spices and hints of butterscotch are revealed.
We recommend serving with a drop of water to unlock some more hidden tropical sweetness.
